Miami’s Only Gay Sauna: Relaunched, Revamped, and Remodeled
Club Body Center is Now Club Aqua Miami

(Miami, FLA) – After three decades of serving the Miami gay community, Club Body Center has officially changed ownership. Gay sauna investor, Dennis Holding, saw an opportunity to take the 8,000 square foot space and restore it to the fabulous gay sauna it once was. After purchasing the space, Dennis immediately went to work on renovating every part of the facility. He has refurbished all 30 of Club Aqua Miami’s cubicle dressing rooms, turning 10 of the cubicles into deluxe dressing rooms, complete with flat screen televisions. The Club also received an immaculate cleaning. Much of the carpeting has been replaced; walls repainted, and outdoor garden areas filled to the brim with new tropical plants.
“When I purchased the Club, our team immediately went to work on restoring the facilities,” says Club Aqua Miami owner, Dennis Holding. “We took out all the old lockers and replaced them with brand new ones that include a lock. We also installed 15 flat screen televisions, with more to come. We restored the functionality of the wet area by refurbishing the shower room, adding a double-tiered dry sauna, and making various important changes. On top of all that, we have scrubbed, cleaned, and painted the Club in order to bring it up to our standards.”
Club Aqua Miami consists of six unique areas. The first area guest encounter is the check-in room, which includes a comfortable lounge with a flat panel television, showing the latest current events, vending machines, free coffee, and a mini-store where guests can pick up lube or various essentials. The lounge overlooks an outdoor pool area, which consist of a heated pool and sunbathing deck, where beautiful men can snag some rays before heading inside the club.
After walking past the pool, guests then enter the main building, where they will find a gym that includes new lockers, aerobic equipment, a multi-station weight machine, and a large window overlooking the pool area. This is also the start of the private cubicle dressing area and the hall and maze space, which is illuminated by a new state-of-the-art LED lighting system. Depending on the occasion, the new LED lights can change the ambiance of the club from a serene aquatic oasis to a red-hot evening reminiscent of the red light district in Amsterdam.
The upgraded European themed spa area includes six communal showers, a hot tub for eight, refurbished steam room, complete with two levels of benches, and will soon feature a new cedar dry sauna. Beyond the wet area, guests can enjoy some of the latest porn titles in the open theater or sexplore the outdoor maze area in the plush tropical garden, complete with booths, glory holes, and private areas created by beautiful foliage. Club Aqua Miami’s tropical garden and pool and patio area can also be used for catered events.
“There really is so much to experience at Club Aqua Miami,” explains Dennis. “The upgraded tropical garden, deluxe dressing cubicles, and refurbished wet area offer Club Aqua Miami members an opportunity to relax, explore, and enjoy a day or evening in a top notch men’s club, created just for them.”
Club Aqua Miami has also upgraded the weekly event roster. For years, the Club has conducted a Safe Sex Show every Sunday, where models perform for its members. Now, Club Aqua Miami has relaunched the show by bringing in new beautiful models that entice, excite, and include Club members in their Live Sex Show. And, over the next couple months, Club Aqua Miami will be launching a Sunday Tea Dance for members located in that area, as well as a bear night, college night, fetish night, and leather night, among many other events.
Dennis Holding and Club Aqua Miami are also very devoted to the Miami gay community. Club Aqua Miami provides condoms and free HIV testing two nights per week for members. Club Aqua Miami is also a member of the Miami Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA). As a resident of Miami Beach, Dennis is looking forward to participating in the 2nd Annual Miami Beach Gay Pride, and getting more involved with local GLBT rights organizations.
